Swati Bhattacharya

I am currently a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Aksimentiev group at UIUC. Before joining UIUC I worked at the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research in Mainz, Germany where I received my Ph.D. I have worked on varied fields like nonlinear dynamics, polymer physics and bionanotechnology. My current projects focus on developing applications of nanopores. I am exploring the translocation of DNA through protein nanopores using all-atom MD as a part of a collaborative project to design nanopore based DNA sequencing techniques.
